RICHE TERRE KABRASTAN

SECURED KABRASTAN OF MORE THAN 22 ACRES.

The Private Land at Riche Terre was donated to the society by a group of Surtee traders hailing from the Indian Sub Continent more particularly from Surat. Part of this plot of land which is of an extent of more than 22 acres, is being used as a Kabrastan since the turn of the 19th Century. According to our records, more than 40,000 Muslims are buried there.

The Society provides all required facilities to assist the Muslim community at large for the burials of their loved ones. Adjacent to the Kabrastan, is a Masjid which was built in the year 1901. A parking lot covering an area of more than 3 acres is available for all visitors.

Security: The Area is under the surveillance of a professional Security Company round the clock. The Kabrastan and adjacent lands are being upgraded to provide additional facilities and comfort to visitors.
